Walking Taco Casserole

Enjoy a quick, budget-friendly meal that is family-approved! Addie, a Freezer Picker in our warehouse, makes this for her family regularly.

Ingredients

- 1.5 Pounds of Ground Beef
- 1 Cup of Chopped Onion
- 3 Ounces of Cream Cheese
- 1 Can of Green Chilis
- 2 – 3 Cups of Tortilla Chips
- 1 Cup of Shredded Cheese

Optional Toppings

1 Roma Tomato Chopped
1 – 2 Cups of Shredded Lettuce
Salsa
Sour Cream

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350° F.
In an oven-safe skillet, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion, occasionally stirring.
Once ground beef is cooked through and the onions are soft, add the taco seasoning, can of green chilis, and cream cheese. Cook while stirring continuously until the cream cheese is completely melted and incorporated.
Add tortilla chips to the mixture and top with shredded cheese.
Place in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from oven and serve with toppings of choice.
